**The Rebel Federation is an online community made for players, by players,** originally organized in 2007. Today, we have expanded to a diverse community, organized as a "Federation" of Divisions with similar interests, and Teams of Members with similar skillsets. These groups do activities together either recreationally or competitively, while Members rank up by being active and contributing to the collective Federation.
# **DIVISIONS**
Divisions are groups of members that associate themselves with the Rebel Federation name. They are centered around a shared topic of interest, which their activities are based on. They are free to build, and can organize themselves however works best for them, often including their own staff structure.
Divisions are led by Division Commanders—usually the RF Members who start the Division or were elected by the Division’s staff to serve that position. They are responsible for exactly what the name describes: leading the Division, and making sure it’s active for members involved.
# **TEAMS**
In our mission to organize our community around their interests, we’ve come up with a system designed for tight-knit RF Member groups. Teams are best described as small Divisions, with a Member cap, who all share a similar focus, tasked specifically by the RF Command to carry out a specific area to run the community. Teams are a great way for RF Members to get more involved in the Command structure, and are the main entry point for new RF Staff.
Teams are utilized by the RF Command to carry out specific project objectives. Team Captains are stewards for their specific Team and can be anything from a foot soldier during a specific project to someone tasked with Administrator level responsibilities, which makes their inclusion in the RF Command important.

We are a community created by our players. We’re only so organized because of the talented & unique individuals who make us up.
