National Student Esports

Welcome to the NSE Discord server! Are you a UK university student or an alumnus? Then you've come to the right place. We are the official body of university esports in the UK and run the British University Esports Championship (BUEC) where over 100 universities take part spanning across 11 esports titles. To take part, sign up to the NSE website using your student email and find a team to play with from your university. We recommend you join your esports or gaming society to find teams! At the end of the winter and spring seasons, we calculate all of the points earnt over the year and crown one university "Esports University of the Year". We also run a variety of other events throughout the year like a shorter summer season, monthly community events, various giveaways, competitions and so on. These are also open to alumni. Want to work in games or esports? We run programmes e.g. Intel FutureGen Programme which takes 20 students each year and gives them industry mentors, Q&A sessions with industry experts, access to events etc. We do loads more you can get involved with, so to see everything we run, head to the resources page on the NSE website, www.nse.gg!
