The Money Out of Politics (MOP) Movement is a veteran-led, non-partisan movement demanding an end to corruption in government by removing corporate money, PACs, and lobbyist influence from politics. We believe that Congress should serve the American peopleโnot corporations, billionaires, or special interests.
Our mission is simple but uncompromising:
Ban Political Stock Trading & Financial Conflicts of Interest โ Members of Congress and their families should not profit from insider knowledge. We demand strict financial regulations prohibiting stock trading, self-serving investments, and the revolving door between Congress and corporate lobbying.
End Corporate & PAC Influence in Elections โ We will fight for legislation that eliminates corporate donations, dark money PACs, and pay-to-play politics, ensuring elected officials are accountable only to their constituents.
Expose & Remove Corrupt Politicians โ Through #VTO (Vote Them Out), we will hold every lawmaker accountable for their voting record, campaign funding sources, and financial dealings. If they serve money instead of the people, we will organize to remove them from office.
Pass Real Anti-Corruption Legislation โ We support airtight laws that:
Ban members of Congress from trading stocks.
Impose lifetime lobbying bans on lawmakers.
Establish publicly funded elections to level the playing field.
Criminalize backdoor deals between politicians and special interests.
This is not a left or right issueโitโs an American issue. If we donโt take the money out of politics, politicians will keep taking from us.
