Nations is a unique geopolitical gamemode set on a 1:1000 scale map of Earth, revolving around conflict, diplomacy, trade and a player-driven economy, shipbuilding and more. Player-run nations compete for political, military and economic dominance. What will your nation's story be? Design and build over 20 types of vehicles - ranging from trains, to tanks, to fully-fledged battleships armed with naval guns. Engage in intense naval and ground battles that can involve dozens of ships! Nations conduct diplomacy and frequently go to war. Wars involve artillery, over 18 WW1-era guns, vehicles and vanilla combat! Help build cities that the world will envy and work with others to create a nation! Our custom Towny add-ons include elections, vassalage, embargoes, advanced taxation, and more. We have just released our agricultural update, adding 26 new crops to the game! These crops can be used to craft dozens of new foods, some of which give effects. The Nations economy is player-driven; almost every item in the game has been produced by a player. Custom plugins exist to help you create trade contracts, price items, and find player shops (of which hundreds exist!) You can even compare the economic statistics of nations, including wealth and inequality. Create works of art through our map painting plugin, and write musical compositions in books that can be played in-game using our custom music book plugin!
